About the Event:
Dr. Santosh Kumar Srivastava, Associate Professor (Chemistry) in C.M.P. Degree College Prayagraj has motivated the students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the College to use cloth bags instead of polythene by quoting “Panni chhodein, thjaila pakadein”, to make India Plastic free. In this occasion, more than 250 cloth bags were distributed across the College premises.

About the Event:
Institute Innovation Cell, CMP, Prayagraj (U.P.) celebrated the event National Youth Day (Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand) on 12th January, 2023 in college auditorium. The Principal and president IIC presided the function. Dr. Archana Tripathi (Associate Professor of Geography) delivered a talk on “Spiritual journey of Swami Vivekanand”. She narrate the story of meeting Swami Vivekanand and his Guru Swami Ram Krishna Paramhans. Gradually Narendra started his spiritual journey under the guidance of Swami Ram Krishna and became Swami Vivekanand. Dr. Bhavna Chauhan motivated the students for social services. Event was conducted in offline mode with objective to orient faculty and students to know about the spiritual journey and ideology of Swami Vivekanand.

Session was delivered in offline mode with the objective to orient students towards the importance of Renewable Energy Resources, hydrogen and electric energy resources.

About the Event:
Prof. Awadhesh Kumar Rai is one of the famous experimentalists and spectroscopists in India and around the globe as well. He has delivered experimental aspects of various atomic and molecular spectroscopic techniques such as Laser Induced breakdown spectroscopy, Fiber optic laser -induced breakdown spectroscopy probe for elemental analysis of Aluminum alloy, Photoacoustic spectroscopy, Pantnagar and Laser Optogalvanic spectroscopy. After the lecture a poster presentation on different scientific techniques and novel idea was also organized. The Winners of the program was: Ms. Swati Prajapai (Ist ), Mr. Adarsh Maurya (IInd), Mr. Prashant Tripathi (IIIrd) and Ms. Mansi Patel (Consolation). Event was conducted in online mode with the object to know students the recent techniques of spectroscopy.

About the Event:
National Start up Day was celebrated by IIC, CMP Degree College, Prayagraj (UP) on 16th January, 2023 by arranging online (YouTube) lecture of Mr. Dipan Sahu, Assistant Director, MIC. To encourage the innovation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced last year to celebrate January 16 as a National Start up Day. The initiative will bring together young celebrated entrepreneurs to brainstorm, innovate and excel with the initiatives – Smart Indian Hackathon, Institution’s Innovation Council, Atal ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements, National Innovation and start-ups policy 2019 (NISP) for students and Faculty, International Hackathon. According to him, students should participate and go through problem identification, solution development, concept validation, prototype development, and business model and proposal development. He also discussed incubation and preincubation support, mentoring support funds IPR, shares, disputes in IPR and inter institutional collaboration.
