About the Event :
World Entrepreneur Day was celebrated by the Institute Innovation Cell of CMP Degree College on August 21, 2023 in hybrid (online/offline) mode. The keynote speaker of the event was Mr. LLEWELLYN D’SA, cofounder and CEO of Robo Bionics Company. He delivered a lecture on ‘Future Opportunities of Entrepreneurs in India’. His start up Robo Bionics was awarded with the “National Startup Award 2021” Under the Medical Device category in January 2022. In his lecture he said “One of the biggest opportunities is the large and growing consumer market. With a population of more than 1.3 billion people, India is one of the largest consumer markets in the world. This presents a huge opportunity for entrepreneurs who can tap into the needs and preferences of Indian consumers. The objective of the session was to orient students towards entrepreneurship so that they may become job providers and not job seekers.
