About the Event:
Workshop on Business Modal Canvas was organized by IIC (Institute Innovation Cell) and the Department of Commerce of C.M.P. Degree College, Prayagraj on 02nd May, 2023. The Resource Person was Dr. R.B.L. Srivastava Associate Professor, CMP Degree College, Prayagraj. The Principal of the College Prof. Ajay Prakash Khare has emphasised on the significance of Entrepreneurship in the current scenario in India and how by understanding the concept of BMC one can improve the overall business. Dr. R.B.L. Srivastava, highlighted the importance of Entrepreneurship, government measures for initiating startups, BMC which is a tool of strategic planning on the part of entrepreneurs, owners, managers etc. and stated the nine-block of business model i.e., Key Partners, Key activities, Key resources, Value Propositions, Customer Relationships, Channels, Customer segments, Cost structure and Revenue streams.

About the Event :
A lecture on Economic Contribution of Entrepreneurs was organized by Institute Innovation Cell, C.M.P. Degree College on 19th May, 2023. The Principal Prof. Ajay Prakash Khare talked about Entrepreneurship programme in India. He highlighted how students to become an entrepreneur in India. Dr. Archana Pandey, Convener of the IIC welcomed all the guests and discussed about some case studies regarding entrepreneurship, start-ups and innovation in business. Mr. Ashutosh Mishra gave the lecture on Economic Contribution of Entrepreneurs. He discussed about the role of entrepreneurship in economic development is substantial. After all, entrepreneurs don’t just build businesses and grow their personal wealth; they also impact the economy by creating new jobs and opportunities, driving innovation, and developing new markets, products, and services.

About the Event:
Event on Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) was organized by IIC (Institute Innovation Cell) and the Department of Commerce of C.M.P. Degree College, Prayagraj on 24th August 2023. The Resource Person was Miss Farah Bano, Coordinator, NIPAM. Ms. Farah Bano, Coordinator, NIPAM has emphasized on Intellectual Property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; symbols, names, and images used in Commerce. IP is protected in law- for example, patents, copyright, and trademarks, which enable people to earn recognition or financial benefit from what they invent or create. By striking the right balance between the interests of innovators and the wider public interest, the IP system aims to foster an environment in which creativity and innovation can flourish. The objective of the session was to orient Students towards the comprehensive approach of all aspects of the patents & new inventions.

About the Event:
The special lecture on Prototype/ Process Design & Development is targeted to benefit the students with in depth knowledge on the given topic. Dr. Shiv Shankar Singh who is an expert of IPR enlightened the students with the concept of Intellectual property and the rights associated with it. Dr. Ajay Pratap Singh, Convener, Law Department highlighted the essence of understanding the laws relating to IPRs as it beneficial for those young minds who are preparing to pursue in the corporate sector as legal advisors to various sorts of firms. Mrs. Sonal Khare, an IPR expert is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law, C.M.P. Degree College, Prayagraj, the resource person of the event, initially focussed on the conceptual understanding of Prototype and Design and covered the law relating to the protection of Designs and highlighted the salient features of the Designs Act, 2000.

Business plan competition and presentation was organized by IIC (Institute Innovation Cell) and the Department of Commerce of C.M.P. Degree College on 7th-9th May 2023. The Principal Prof. Ajay Prakash Khare talked about startup programme in India. He highlighted the role of students in economic development and contribution of India. Dr. Archana Pandey, Convener of the IIC welcomed all the guests and discussed about innovation and entrepreneurial development among students. Dr. Bireshwar Pandey Convener of the event addressed to students and gave the lecture on start-up ecosystem and entrepreneurship in India. The main objective of the session was to develop awareness regarding Start-ups to become more entrepreneurs.

About the Event:
Mentoring Event: Poster Presentation on Business Plan was organized by IIC (Institute Innovation Cell) and the Department of Commerce of C.M.P. Degree College, Prayagraj on 16th May, 2023. Dr Anuradha Singh Assistant Professor Department of Chemistry, S S Khanna Girls’ Degree College, University of Allahabad and IIC, Convenor S S Khanna Girls’ Degree College and Innovation Ambassador IIC, enlightened the importance of Startups and government measures for initiating startups in the current scenario. Out the all the participants three best were recognised. After each presentation question were raised by the Judges. It provided a wonderful opportunity for students to ideate and innovate in a unique way under required guidance. The zeal, enthusiasm, and participation of the students made the activity a success.
